A daughter, sister, wife, mother, best friend, photographer. I reside in Paragon, Indiana with my husband, two beautiful sons and three adorable little doggies. My passion for photography began after the birth of my son. I wanted to capture and remember these everlasting moments forever. This is when I purchased my first digital SLR camera. I love taking photographs of little ones in their entourage, surrounded by family and friends. After all, isn’t this where they are most comfortable! I spend most of my free time reading about and studying photography. Photography offers such a world of possibilities to me. Specializing exclusively in natural light photography for maternity, newborns, children, and families, I strive to capture the beauty in each moment and turn them into everlasting memories. So this year there are lots of babies having their first birthdays.
And are getting to experience their 1st Birthday Cakes

ON FATHER’S DAY!!
What a wonderful gift to Daddy Tony.
He made it home in time for the birth after all.
He’ll be returning to Korea in just 2 more weeks.
This baby girl has to be the most laid back baby I’ve ever met.
She didn’t utter a peep the entire time we wiggled and jiggled her around for photos.

We met up at Eagle Creek Park on the Indianapolis west side for fairly early morning session.
The weather had turned pretty chilly overnight and there was actually frost on windshields early in the morning.
Thankfully though the grass was pretty dry in the sunny spots so we were able to get the following photos.
Here are a couple more shots of Princess M.
She only has eyes for her Mama and truly pays me no mind whatsoever.
I got lucky though and did manage a few shots with her actually looking at me.
I just love photographing babies.

This morning I told Cade I was going to be photographing a princess today.
I explained how this baby’s Mama had worked at Disney World as Cinderella.
He quickly gave me his rendition of the story.
The Princess (Cinderella) married her Prince Charming (Kevin).
Then they got a baby.
Okay, I know it sounds funny that they “got” a baby.
I’ll explain:
Any time he’s ever asked the “how to’s” of babies I’ve always told him you have to pray for a baby.
Then God just puts one in the Mommy’s tummy.
End of story.
At least for awhile.

Aren’t these two just the sweetest babes in all the world?
I have to say that newborn twin babies have to be some of the most challenging to photograph.
Little Diego didn’t want any part of it at first.
Just like a little man, he was thinking of his stomach.
Once he got a little more in his tummy, he was good to go.
According to the Mama their personalities were reversed on this day.
I think Delilah is a little diva and knew there was a camera in her midst.
Can I just say I LOVE these two.
Oh yes, and the Mama too.

Her Mommy has had 2 babies prior to her who were born early.
Needless to say, she came a little later than expected.
All week long I would text her Mama asking her when she was thinking of birthing this baby girl. Natalie though had other plans.
So yesterday morning when I received the text that her water had broken and she was dilated to 5cm, then another text letting me know she had gotten her epidural I was almost too excited to sleep.
Alas. . . . .I had to work so sleep was a must.
So for the next 4 hours I tossed and turned and I’m pretty sure I kept My Christopher awake (poor guy) and I’m positive it had nothing to do with the fact I made a huge mistake in drinking a diet Mountain Dew with my bagel for breakfast.
