I reside in Paragon, Indiana with my husband, two beautiful sons and three adorable little doggies.
My passion for photography began after the birth of my son. I wanted to capture and remember these everlasting moments forever. This is when I purchased my first digital SLR camera. I love taking photographs of little ones in their entourage, surrounded by family and friends. After all, isn’t this where they are most comfortable!
I spend most of my free time reading about and studying photography. Photography offers such a world of possibilities to me. Specializing exclusively in natural light photography for mommies to be, newborns, children, and families, I strive to capture the beauty in each moment and turn them into everlasting memories.
I am a natural light photographer, meaning I don’t use any artificial lighting, and I feel it is important for me to explain that sessions will need to be planned around this. If you want an in-home session you will need a nice big window in your home to allow a good amount of light in. And as for outdoor sessions the light is most desirable either early in the morning, or in the evening just before sunset. However we can definitely do it any time of the day, and just work with what we have available too. We can discuss locations and lighting more when we book your session.

This little lady has mad skills when it comes to timeliness.
She wanted to be here and in a hurry too.
At just under 6 hours of labor her Momma delivered her early enough last Sunday to squeeze in some Sunday afternoon football.
Isn’t this little princess absolutely beautiful?
We all think so.

Dan and my hubby have been BFF’s ever since my Christopher moved to Indiana from Southern California.
Jena and Dan worked together at a hospital on the North side of Indy.
. . . . . and now they’re having a baby!
(Dan & Jena that is, my husband had no part in that!)
It was so much fun traipsing through the woods with these two.
I’m very thankful Charlie didn’t protest much and put Jena into preterm labor with all that exercise
Jena you’re a beautiful ‘Momma-to-be’ and I’m positive your precious baby girl will be the sweetest and most beautiful princess in all the land.

Thanks to our crazy Indiana weather we had to reschedule this session multiple times.
Finally however we managed to make it to the park for her senior photo session.
With her killer eyes and fun personality I couldn’t help but have a super fun afternoon

I love shooting this family for many reasons.
Michele is one of the best girlfriends ever.
Her kiddos are simply gorgeous.
And her doggies are pretty cute too
Last week she asked if I could take photos of her family (doggies included).
Einstein (her male dog) was diagnosed with cancer last year and had a tumor removed.
The cancer is back.
We’re unsure just how much longer he has left so wanted to get some memories on camera.

After a whirlwind courtship these two love birds decided to tie the knot in a quaint ceremony in downtown Greenfield, Indiana.
Joining the wedding party were a handful of close friends and family.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family.
They live in three different states and came together for the holiday weekend.

OMGoodness is all I can say about this little guy.
He came rip-roaring into this world very early and proved himself little but VERY MIGHTY!
